1960 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible

The Type 14 - this was the internal code of the Karmann Ghia - debuted at the Paris Auto Show in 1953 as a concept car styled by Luigi Segre of Italian Carrozzeria Ghia. Production started two years later and lasted nearly 20 years until 1974. The cars were based on the Volkswagen Type 1 (Beetle) which got their beautiful coupé and convertible bodies by German coach-builder Karmann.

There are not many Type 14 in Thailand, so this is the rare chance to buy a vintage open sports car with iconic style. This Karmann Ghia Convertible which is for sale in Phuket is an original right hand drive model. According to the owner it is in genuine condition with correct blue book.
