Original V8-engine with 3,499 cm³ and 200 hp. Manual transmission.

The Mercedes-Benz W108 was the flagship of Mercedes-Benz from 1965 to 1972. It was very successful in both the home market and export markets including Southeast Asia. Designer Paul Bracq was responsible for the styling which resembled the lines of the beautiful W111 coupés.

In the beginning all W108 were equipped with 6-cylinder engines. The big V8-engines were introduced 4 years later at Frankfurt Auto Show in 1969, first in the 300 SE 3.5, one year later also in the 280 SE 3.5.

Compared with the standard W108 the 280 SE 3.5 is an extremely rare car with only about 3% of all W108 fitted with this V8-engine. This olive green 3.5 with matching leather interior is in good condition and - not only in Thailand - a very special collector car.
