The MG Midget Roadster is a small sports car launched by BMC (British Motor Corporation) in 1961 and was essentially a slightly modified version of the Austin-Healey Sprite Mk II, which was designed by Donald Healey and its team. Production of the Midget continued until 1979, but already in 1974 it lost the beautiful chrome bumpers.

With its original 46hp engine of the first series it was tested by The Motor Magazine in 1962 with a top speed of 142 km/h and a 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) sprint in 18.3 seconds.

This MG Midget Roadster, which is for sale in Phuket Town, is one of the desirable early chrome bumper versions. According to the owner the car is very well maintained and in amazing condition. It has a 1,200 cm³ Datsun engine which makes it easy to service. A lot of time and money was spent for a full restoration in Bangkok with imported parts from Europe (interior, aircondition, new paint, new chrome,...).

The owner has another MG in Phuket and wants to sell this Midget, because he leaves Thailand. The car is properly registered in Thailand (blue book).
