Volkswagen Type 2 Bus T1 Samba
Original 4-cylinder engine. Manual transmission.
White colour with beige interior.
The Volkswagen Bus, officially Type 2 or Transporter, was introduced in 1950 and shared most of its technic with the VW Beetle (Type 1). Only the first version (later called T1) had the vintage style split screen layout of the front window that was discontinued with the introduction of the second generation (T2) in 1967. These split screen models enjoy the highest rating among collectors today.
This VW T1 has the skylight windows and big sunroof of the "Samba" model, which was a deluxe microbus with a higher level trim than the standard versions (in the US also called "21-window" version). The car got a full body-off restoration two years ago and is in very good condition now with full options and lots of nice details. Complete registration documents.
