1956 Jaguar XK 140 Roadster

The Jaguar XK made its debut at the London Motor Show in 1948. In the beginning the XK 120 was only available as Roadster (OTS=open two seater), in 1951 it got a coupé sibling (FHC=fixed head coupé) and another two years later a more luxurious convertible version (DHC=drop head coupé) followed.

Any version featured a stunningly beautiful styling and brisk performance. At the time of its launch the XK 120 was the fastest production car in the world. The XK 140 followed in 1954. It showed only a slight facelift, but with 190hp for standard engine the XK 140 had significantly more power. This could still be topped by the S-version with C-Type head and 210hp which could easily reach 200 km/h.

This gorgeous white XK 140 is surely one of the top collector cars in Thailand. Besides being an OTS or Roadster - the most sought after version - it also has the rare S-option with C-Type head. But there is one fact that makes this XK 140 absolutely unique and invaluable: Jaguar Heritage Trust certifies that this is the last RHD XK 140 Roadster that left the factory... a piece of history!
