1972 Ford Escort Mk I

Original 4-cylinder engine with 1,300 cm³ and 4-speed manual transmission.

The Ford Ecort Mk I made its show debut at Brussels Motor Show in January 1968 and became a big commercial success in many European countries. The most famous styling feature was the "dog bone" shape of the front grille but also the slight "coke bottle" waistline that was inspired by American cars of that time.

According to the owner this is probably the finest Escort Mk I in Thailand. It has been lovingly restored to better than new condition in its original colour. It got a completely new interior with white leather Recaros, comes with RS 2000 decals, badges and stripes plus original Cibie Oscar spot and fog lights. The original 1300 cm³ Ford engine is in excellent condition. The car got all new suspension, steering, brakes etc. Air-con, tinted glass, inertia seat belts and rear lap belts. Correct Blue book, taxed and insured.
